A newly delivered 57m private yacht is seeking a Deckhand with at least one year of experience. You’ll need to hit the ground running and be a quick learner, as there is plenty of work to be done in the shipyard. With the Chief Officer busy managing operations, it’s essential that you already have a solid grasp of basic maintenance tasks and can work independently. As a new build, the vessel is still in the process of implementing standard procedures, so adaptability is key until all paperwork and operational structures are fully in place. The crew onboard is a diverse mix of nationalities and will remain so, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in an international environment. The vessel may take a short trip to Malta for clearance purposes before returning to the shipyard, with completion expected around mid-May to June. This role offers a 3:1 rotation and a starting salary of €2,750, increasing to €3,250 after the probation period, provided both parties are satisfied.
